I went straight to my friends shop run a OBDII tester. It says secondary Air injection pump maulfunction, I read coupe of the topics on the board, but nothing about how to change or install the SEC AIR pump? My Qs is, is it a big job? do i need to change some kind of relay? I read something about ppl have to change their relay& air pump. Any advise or help would be greatly appreciate
I would like to direct this question to those who have encountered a problem with an air injection pump (http://www.drivewire.com/part/emission-control/air-pump/). I was at an auto shop the other day and a mechanic suggested to run a OBDII tester. The result read air injection pump malfunction. I was wondering if anyone knew how to replace this. I was advised to change my relay and air pump, how do I go about doing this? Thanks for the advice.
