Engine swap

I'm planning to do the obvious engine swap into my 2nd gen 240SX but was wondering if the lsd diff. needed to be swapped as well or if the stock one will hold up the power increase of an SR20DET motor ?

hey i was wondering if it would be possidle to put a v8 4.9 caddy engine in a 240 shell i had a crazy idea and i was wonderin if it would work cuz that would be insane if so

I need to know about the rear end as well. I am putting in a rb26dett though. Will it hold? I am pretty certain the stock rear will hold the sr20det.

the stock ka24de rear end will hold the sr20 hp at stock or tuning if ur going alot of hp. It wont hold w/o upgrading it. as for the rb26dett swap u need to get a custom drive shaft to fit and it will hold but if ur going more hp like above u need to up grade too....
