What up everybody.

Im considering starting to work on a 240, and have almost made up my mind on going with the RB20 engine. Now, what Im trying to figure out is if going with a RB20DE, and installing an aftermarket turbo down the road is better and/or more cost efficient then buying one with a stock turbo already attached.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Also, I have never worked on a 240 before (former Honda fan), how difficult is it to drop a new engine into one? I understand there is some form of mounting brackets required for an RB series engines. Whats the best and easiest way to go about the job?

edit: also, on that same note - Altima + RB20? Thoughts?

Well I'd like to say sorry nobody replied to your post before me, but it depends on what you plan to do with it, the horsepower, are you going to have to replace the stock internals ect. But to swap an RB engine into a 240sx is hard since the wiring is in japanese from what I heard, and i'm not sure if theres a translated version, If you were thinking about going with the 2 liter you might want to concider the SR20DET, its lighter and its almost a bolt in. But having the RB in there is just awesome.
