New to the Forum

New to the forums, just wanted to say Hi.
Wanted to at least post one post for now. mostly gonna creep the forums learn as much as possible and ask if i need help. I do have one question today.

I currently drive a 93 240sx hatch, KA24DE, Automatic.
possibly picking up a 5 Speed tranny on thursday.

my question is, is this tranny worth it? it has 176K miles on it. guy is giving me the tranny, short shifter. and a regular shift kit, drive shaft and a new slave cylinder. all for 250. i have looked at the tranny and it actually looks in pretty good shape on the outside. what do you guys think? should i take it?

A pic of the engine (if i get this tranny i am just gonna pull the whole motor out and clean the entire engine and engine bay.


plans for the future,
first off 5 speed swap
get better coils
5 lug conversion
different rims (thinking the 370z nismo rims)
new paint job

i want to do more, but money needs to get a lil better before i do anything crazy.

let me know what you guys think and it would be awesome if i can get yalls opinion on that transmission

Hi! I just read your post, and I find your inquiry actually interesting. I think the tranny is worth it, along with the short sifter, regular shift kit, drive shaft, and a new slave cylinder just for 250. If you haven't yet, I suggest you take it into consideration.
