Yesterday the parcel from Australia arrived. Very nice quality on the damper.
New belts to use because of the undersize damper: Alternator belt 4PK0855, 4PK825 or equal AC belt 4PK0845, 4PK815 or equal Power Steering belt 4/3PK0835, 4/3PK800 or equal (check if you have 3 or 4 ribs) "4pk845 Hicas" / "3pk845 Non-Hicas" (4 rib belts for Hicas and 3 rib belts for Non-Hicas) ![]() ![]() |

It has been rather unclear what ARP-studs to use for the main bearing caps on the ca18det. I made an extensive investigation and can now confirm that the kit 165-5402 is a 100% fit.
